First I created the simple synth loop and then gradually added additional tracks to have it build throughout, but keeping the overall minimalistic feel.

My remix of one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands, Depeche Mode. For this single, I wanted to recreate the original synthesized vox in the intro and ending, but with actual human voice this time around, so I employed my friend Beth Dadko to sing the backing vocal part.

I started with the simple piano part. It almost sounded like a loop, and from there I added the other instruments, making it explode near the end when the full drum set kicks in.
Anthems and Edison Lights

It starts with the Vox-amp driven guitar chord progression, and from there I was able to built the rest of the track. It has kind of an anthemic European feel of almost watching a soccer game in the stands with a Guinness in hand.

I was playing around on my Fender Telecaster one day and came up with the electric guitar riff. I then made a loop of it and added the other instruments to fill it up.
